Energy Performance Certificates
(EPC)
Verdant Eco specialises in energy consultancy throughout the UK.
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rates how energy-efficient a residential or commercial building is, showing its energy use and carbon emissions. Using specialist software, we assess heating systems, insulation, windows, and overall design, and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, lower energy bills, and reduce environmental impact. EPCs are required for new buildings before completion and are commonly needed when selling or renting existing properties.

Energy Performance Certificates We Offer:
EXISTING DWELLING
(DEA) – EPC
Verdant Eco provides EPCs for existing homes across the UK, for all types of homes. Our Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs) carry out quick, non-intrusive on-site assessments, typically lasting 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on property size. They record key details such as the building’s age, windows, heating systems and insulation, along with photos and a floor plan. This information is processed using the latest RdSAP10 software to produce an energy rating and EPC. DEAs can also explain the results and offer advice on improving the property’s energy efficiency.
